What the rejection says
Guideline 1.5 – Safety – Developer Information
The support URL provided in App Store Connect does not direct to a website with information users can use to ask questions and request support.
What Apple actually means
“People need to know how to reach you with questions and support issues. Make sure your app and its Support URL include an easy way to contact you… Failure to include accurate and up-to-date contact information not only frustrates customers, but may violate the law in some countries or regions.”
Why AI-built apps hit it so often
- The support URL is a builder preview or staging link that sleeps, redirects to a login, or 404s.
- It points at a landing page with no contact information at all.
- The domain was set up for the app but the page was never published.
How to fix it
- Publish a
/supportpage on a stable domain with: the app’s name, a support email or working form, answers to two or three common questions, and links to your privacy policy and terms. - Open it on a phone while signed out, to confirm it loads for a stranger.
- Update the Support URL in App Store Connect under App Information.
- Add a contact link inside the app as well, usually in Settings.
- Reply in Resolution Center that the URL is updated. You usually don’t need a new build.
How we handle a 1.5
It’s usually a same-day fix: we publish the support page on your domain, update App Store Connect and reply to App Review. It’s included in every App Store Launch.
