[ AI Development ] · Fixed quote per project

AI products that hold up with real users.

A demo takes a weekend now. The hard part is the version that handles bad input, costs a sane amount per request and still works after the model changes. We build that version, for startups that need it in weeks.

Custom AI products for startups: agents, copilots, retrieval over your own data, and the app around them, built to production standard.

02 — Fit

Who it’s for

  • Founders with a working prototype that has to become a product
  • Startups adding an AI feature to an existing app: search, summaries, an assistant, document processing
  • Teams that tried an AI builder or an offshore shop and got something that almost works

03 — Scope

What’s included

  • Scoping call and a written, fixed-price plan
  • LLM features on Claude, OpenAI or open models, with evals
  • Web, iOS or both, on infrastructure you own
  • Security review and handover docs included

04 — Process

How it works

  1. Scope call

Thirty minutes on what the product must do, for whom, and what “working” means in numbers: accuracy, speed, cost per user.

  2. Plan and fixed price

Within two business days: architecture, model choice, what ships first and what it costs. No hourly meter.

  3. Build in the open

Weekly demos on a staging link, your repo from day one, and evals that show whether the AI is getting better or worse.

  4. Launch and hand over

Production deploy on accounts you own, monitoring, and docs your next engineer (or your next AI session) can follow.

05 — Your side

What we need from you

  • One person on your side who can make product calls
  • Access to the data or systems the AI has to work with
  • Your own cloud and model-provider accounts (we can set them up with you)

Scope note. We don’t train foundation models or sell a platform subscription. You get code and infrastructure you own outright.

06 — FAQ

Questions

Which models do you use?
Whatever fits the job: Claude, OpenAI, Gemini or open-weight models, often more than one. We choose on measured quality, cost and speed for your task, and keep the model behind an interface so switching later is a configuration change.
How do you know the AI part works?
Evals. Before tuning anything we build a test set from real examples of the task, and every change is scored against it. You see the numbers in the weekly demo.
Do we own the code?
Yes. It lives in your repo and deploys to your accounts. No licence fee, no lock-in.
Can you work alongside our team?
Yes. We can build the AI layer while your engineers own the rest, or pair with one engineer who takes it over after launch.
What does it cost?
Every project gets a fixed quote after the scope call, before any work starts. If the idea doesn’t fit your budget we say so on the call and suggest a smaller first version.
