HoloHunt

A living archive for trading cards — every card priced, every pack opening auditable, and a circulation engine that moves cards between collectors instead of selling them new.

HoloHunt

The problem

Serious collectors track five-figure collections in spreadsheets and Discord DMs. The value is real and the collection is invisible: no running total, no completion state, and nothing that turns the pile into motion. Digital pack openings have the opposite problem — the odds are a marketing claim and the pull is unverifiable.

What we shipped

  • Archive of 5,000 cards across 1,305 printings and 38 sets, priced against market data with a live estimated value
  • The Vault — a circulation engine where cards are ripped, held, released or shipped, run on store credit that is never redeemable for cash
  • Every pack publishes its odds per slot before you spend, with a pity counter that guarantees a holo within twelve opens
  • Provably-fair receipts — server seed hash, client seed, nonce and manifest hash printed for every open, so a pull can be checked after the fact
  • Trade floor that matches a wanted list against other collectors and scores mutual overlap
  • A demo account that mirrors the whole app on real odds and real seeds with no real money and no real cards
  • Editorial red-white-black design system, built native in SwiftUI
